Upcoming talent Carissa illy based in Portland OR, is a relentless DJ & producer with fierce new mixes and EPs dropping every month. She is a member and resident DJ at Flight, a popular monthly and community staple in Portland that has been running for over 8 years. Flight has booked the likes of Flava D, Sterling Moss, Dennis Gregory, Tom Mitchell, Alex Falk and many more. Flight has focused on booking local talent, helping build the dance music community in Portland. Carissa is a resident DJ on Techno Club – a new online streaming platform with 10 virtual rooms live streaming the legends, the DJs, behind house, techno & electro. Resident DJs include Tony Humphries, The Advent, Floorplan and more. This new platform allows DJs & musicians to be paid directly through fan subscriptions & copyright distribution. Flight Music Recordings is the record label offshoot of Flight. This label has over 15 releases in just a year, featuring top notch house, techno and electro. Art of Hot and Carissa illy run the label, with various releases together and individually. From house, techno and everything in between, Carissa can spin and produce it. Under the tutelage of Art of Hot she is studying the artistry behind dance music. This DJ and producer is a young talent with the backing of veteran DJs and producers.
