Born in Detroit, influenced by Detroit. Detroit is a city that is known for its rich music history ranging from Motown to Detroit Techno. Growing up as a child Neil V was heavily into hip-hop and R&B with dreams of owning his own music label while producing his own music. It wasn’t until the age of 16 he was introduced to Detroit Techno. Neil attended his first Detroit underground warehouse event and from there he never looked back. Coming from the city that established the signature melodic techno sound, he put a staple in the Detroit hard techno circuit.

Neil quickly became in hot demand and was pegged as one of Detroit’s next wave of talent. With almost 20 years of experience, his sound has evolved into a more mature techno sound without losing the hard edge. He plays an integral part of the famous Detroit Techno Militia 5×5 set as a work horse that is in charge of controlling the tempo. Neil V’s precise tight mixing along with his quick technical skills has given him the opportunity to headline at clubs and events throughout the world.
